Meeting the future needs of military operations

New Business ZeroAlpha Solutions Launches – Promising to Deliver the Future Needs of Military Operations

1st February 2017 – CARDIFF, UK – A new business, ZeroAlpha Solutions Ltd (ZeroAlpha) has launched, promising to deliver innovative solutions to meet the future needs of military operations.

ZeroAlpha supplies networking hardware, software and sustainable power solutions to the UK and European defence and security markets.  Their focus: addressing the growth in the military shift towards network centric warfare and increased power demands.

Founder Stewart Burton commented “There’s an immediate need for new, innovative systems to support deployed operations. It’s our aim to increase expeditionary and Special Forces operational duration - deploying with a smaller logistical footprint, while reducing the cost and risk on supply chain”.

And the company is doing just that. Supplying PacStar’s network centric communication modules, ZeroAlpha is maximising C4ISR capabilities, with the smallest SWaP possible. Using SFC Energy’s award winning fuel cell technology, the company is helping to create longer lasting missions, while reducing the dependency on traditional batteries and fossil fuels.

While a new business, ZeroAlpha starts with a wealth of industry experience. Burton has worked in the military communications arena for over 28 years, the first 11 of these in the Royal Signals and on leaving active service, focused on business development for organisations including L3, Thales, Lockheed Martin and C4i Systems.

2017 promises to be an exciting first year for ZeroAlpha, with new partnership and technology announcements on the horizon.
