Hand Crank Generator (HCG)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Hand Crank Generator (HCG) is a compact, lightweight, and efficient kinetic power generation system engineered for dismounted operations in remote and austere environments. Weighing just over 2 kg and capable of delivering up to 67 W, the HCG enables users to incrementally charge a range of in-service military batteries, including Nett Warrior, Conformal Wearable Battery (CWB), and BB-2590 variants.
Designed as a top-up power solution, the HCG is not intended to deliver a full charge cycle, but rather to provide critical sustainment power when conventional energy sources are unavailable and carrying spare batteries is not feasible. This approach ensures mission continuity in situations where power demand exceeds supply and resupply is not immediately possible.
The system features integrated SMBus-compatible power electronics, enabling intelligent communication with connected batteries to ensure safe and effective charging. A rugged OLED display provides real-time feedback, including battery State of Charge (SOC), giving users clear insight into battery status during operation.
Optimized for use in environments such as arctic, jungle, or other isolated locations, the HCG delivers a reliable, field-ready power source that enhances operational endurance and energy resilience for expeditionary forces
